Summary: Narrator. Filled with broken sentences. Plot. Gone completely wayward. Director Coleman Francis. The butt of everyone's jokes at the time. The monster he came up with. Barely worth giving a hoot about.

History: Joseph Javorsky was a Russian scientist who decided the Soviet Union wasn't worth supporting anymore, and tried to get some classified intel to the U.S. By the time he's gotten there, he's in Yucca Flats, Nevada, and the KGB are hot on his tail. Some chasing later, he wanders right into the vicinity of a nuclear bomb test. After getting caught in the blast, he's reduced to radiation-addled brute aimlessly wandering the Flats seeking human prey.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: Javorsky is eventually confronted by the police, who shoot him without hesitation for his reputation. His final act before entering the next life is cuddling with a small jackrabbit, the last vestige of humanity shining through to the end.

Powers/Abilities: Nothing except brute strength.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 2-Javorsky is slow and acts like an old man trying to get annoying kids off his lawn. Honestly, he looks like he's begging for death all the way through.

Trivia: -Yucca Flats is a very real, very irradiated area in Nevada ripe for bomb testing. In fact, nine years after this film was made, the infamous Yucca Flat Baneberry Test went off, infecting over 86 people with radiation. Who knew a crappy film could double as horrific foreshadowing?

-The film is quite literally devoid of any sound whatsoever. Everything you hear was added in post-production. Dialogue, narration, sound-effects, and all. The conclusion: Coleman Francis needed to get some standards really badly (and taste too, if that infamous opening scene is anything to go by).
